Winter’s Angel

Posted by T.S.Garp

She was part of the Divine Plan as was Man
As she watched the sky turn an opal color‭

A wintry gray-white shroud expanding for miles
Gliding down to observe this sacred happening

She smiled sweetly watching the radiant’s of the sun
Cascading sunbeams escaping behind the clouds‭

Shining onto small spheres falling in scattered clutters‭
Sailing down on the wisp of the slightest breeze‭

Tiny crystalline cotton balls of holy water droplets
Changing colors as the light passed through them

Floating majestically to bathe the landscape in white‭
Winter’s angel,‭ ‬rejoiced with the people at the sight

Closing her eyes,‭ ‬giving a silent blessing through the mist‭
The fair angel of winter sighed at the joy of all of this

She evoked love to every living thing below
Let this continue,‭ ‬until next spring after the snow‭

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Posted by T.S.Garp

Cold wintry wind, bright winter skies, images of rain or snow only encapsulates this perfect setting of winter and the holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my friends and family everywhere and across the world. May each day be exquisite for all of us. I'm deeply in writing mode, re-designing this and that, and gearing up to meet 2013! Happy Holidays!

Busy Holiday Schedule & Keeping Christmas Cheer At The Top Of The List

Posted by T.S.Garp

Yikes! The New Year is almost here already? The Christmas season is in the air and the shoppers are out in force. I have yet another book manuscript that's half-way done already, a second draft really on an entirely new and different theme altogether that I have been working on forever, but momentarily shelved to complete another book. Hmmmmm……So much to do as 2011 ends and 2012 is getting ready to start. As my cousin always says: “Taking it to the next level!” I wholeheartedly concur! Writing out my whole schedule will keep me on track and focus. Keep the Christmas cheer going. Forgo the rain and snow outside. Keep the winter chill away. Put another log on the fire, drink some hot flavored coffee or break out the secret scotch, and we’re good to go! - T.S.Garp

Winter Chill (Part One)

Posted by T.S.Garp

A poem about when you want a change to happen, waiting for it, and you consciously surround yourself with other people to help expedite it.

I’m waiting for the sun.

Waiting for the moon to come.

~

Waiting to feel alive.

Waiting for you, but I’m not surprised.

~

The whole message is clear.

Like a hundred thousand tears.

~

Sitting here waiting for the change to come.

Tumbling down a dream hole and burning into the sun.

~

Time waits for no one, and I’m crying.

Can’t waste another moment, can’t stop trying.

~

With my determination, I will see it true.

No more contemplation, I will make the right move.

~

With these hands I will make the journey.

Gather what I need and out the door in a hurry.
