In a world of wonder, you never know who the Angels are.



Janet gave herself away today

She did not have time to say



She went out this morning

To meet friends without warning



We all started talking

As we saw her walking



Janet’s wings were out flapping

We were shocked and people were surprised with shouts and clapping



Janet was our guardian angel

She was caught in the early morning tangle



Janet had forgotten the most important rule

Something she had learned Angel school



Never let them see your wings out so true

For the ones that you protect must never know that it was you



There was nothing more she could do

Janet was an angel in disguise and everyone knew too



She drew in a heavy sigh and stretched out her pretty wings

Janet smiled at all of us, gave us blessings, and started to sing
