Reading and Writing

Find Your Inspiration

Growing up many moons ago one of my all-time favorite places to visit for a great source of hands-on information was the local Library. Nothing beats the vastness, historic looking marble and wooden library, display of thousands of books on every subject imaginable, some of which are over a hundred years old!
Complete with historical records and immeasurable information printed on comfortable "easy-on-the-eyes" hardbacks that are better than electronic books glaring brightness. For a relaxing time and a reader's inspiration discover the joy of visiting a library, where you'll find solid books, and turn pages of authors and books not found on the internet - T.S.Garp

A Great Science Fiction Author Dies

The iconic Ray Bradbury dies at 91. A wonderful writer, a true visionary who could spin tales so full of imagination and brilliance. Some of my personal favorite books by Bradbury are Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Something Wicked This Way Comes, I Sing The Body Electric, The October Country, R is for Rocket and S is for Space.
A recipient of the Pulitzer Prize award for lifetime work in fantasy and science fiction literature. His numerous short stories, novels, and screenplays (Moby Dick and The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms) are superb. He joins the list of my all-time favorite writers that I have read over the years who have passed on and left a legacy of awe inspiring words that has made the world a more interesting place with their insight and imagination like Robert A. Heinlein, Author C. Clarke, and Isaac Asimov.
